The cover of EW magazine is going to feature our first look at a post-production image of Amazing Spider-Man 2 villain Electro. I said it before and I’ll say it again…I just don’t like it! The rebooted Spider-Man films just aren’t doing anything for me, the first was boring and really felt like it had come too soon after the end of Raimi’s trilogy.
I am a confessed fan with of Raimi’s trilogy (yes, even SM3) and a big Spider-Brand-Fan, but these movies…there is something about them that leaves my blood boiling. Perhaps I’ll be proved wrong with the sequel but I can’t see these movies as credible. Time to hang the Spidey suit out to dry, let Marvel have him back and introduce him back in with the Avengers storyline, forget the backstory, here he is, fully formed.
Below are the details on the EW cover…I’m more interested to hear what they’ve got to say about ‘The Walking Dead’!
We’ll almost certainly see a teaser trailer for Marc Webb‘s The Amazing Spider-Man 2 next week at Comic Con, but for now here’s the first official shot of Jamie Foxx as the villain Electro. We’ve seen Foxx’s non-electrified look in an official pic, and set pics showed us an early look at what you see above and below. But this image gives you Electro complete with post-production effects. He’s facing off against Spider-Man (Andrew Garfield) on the cover of the new EW, and you can see the full image below.
