What a waste of a sequel. The musical aspects were fine, perhaps one too many. The story didn’t go anywhere. It didn’t expose Arthur’s fragile mental state or his history of trauma.

The court escape should have been act one, then act two he commits acts with Harley talking in his ear like Lady MacBeth followed by her revealing her pregnancy to him which then makes him reconsider his crazy side.

Disappointing.
