I wasn’t much of a fan of the Assassin’s Creed games on their first release, but maybe I just didn’t give them a chance. Most people I know raved about them.

Now, those of you who, like me, didn’t want to spend lots of money on the game because you were unsure if you’d enjoy it or not, no longer need to worry, for Microsoft are giving it away as part of their ‘Games With Gold’ program. The full story below.

As part of the “Games With Gold” program announced at E3 in June, I wanted to give you a heads up the next title will be Assassin’s Creed II. Normally US $19.99, Assassin’s Creed II will be will be free for Xbox LIVE Gold members staring tomorrow through July 30th .

PLUS the following Assassin’s Creed franchise content will be on-sale for the rest of July.
