Many of you who know me are aware that I’m a writer of sorts. I went to University and studied Creative Writing, I’ve always had ideas for stories and I enjoy writing them down but I’ve never been one to finish them.

All my life I’ve been working on a novel. Literally. For the past ten years I’ve been writing this thing and like most times I get so far in and then get writers block. The project stalled for a number of years and then I thought I had a sign from God to restart it when a friend added me on Facebook.

It can’t of been as although I started it again I didn’t get a lot done. However three weeks ago I started again. Not from where I left off, not from a future point, completely again. Fresh. Clean.

Today I completed my 10,000th word. A milestone for me.

It might not sound like much but I don’t have much spare time in which to work with so I’m really proud of my acomplishment here. Now, just for you, I’m going to share with you a piece of my work, a part of my “magnum opus”. The 10,000th word of my novel is:

“I”

Great huh? Bet you can’t wait to hear the rest of it, no?

I’ll post more of my milestones as I reach them. For now, have a great weekend!
