Episode 220 – “Two For The Road”
In flashbacks we see Ana Lucia after she killed the man who shot her. Her mother knows she did it but rather than turn herself in or admit it, Ana Lucia quits the force and becomes a security guard at the airport. Later she goes to the airport bar where she shares a drink with Christian Sheppard. He asks her if she wants to help him, he’s going to Sydney and needs some protection, a bodyguard. They give each other aliases and drink to it.

After four days of drinking and in the middle of the night, Christian comes to Ana and says its time. She drives him to a house in the suburbs and he bangs on the door of a house. He gets in an argument with the woman who answers the door and says he has a right to see his daughter. As things turn aggressive, Ana steps in an takes Christian away. She doesn’t agree with what he’s done so asks him to stop but they’ve just stopped outside a bar and he’s more concerned with getting a drink. They part ways and some time later, Ana calls her mother, apologises and tells her she’s coming home.

On the island Hurley is planning a picnic for Libby but he hasn’t got very far. After wandering aimlessly around the jungle they end up on their own beach but it turns out Hurley forgot to bring the drinks or blankets. Libby says she’ll get the blankets and Hurley can deal with the drinks.

In the hatch Ana Lucia is attacked by Henry, he says that she killed two of their people, good people and she deserves to die. Locke manages to break it up. Ana goes to Sawyer and asks for a gun, he refuses so she seduces him and they wind up having sex by the river. As they put on their clothes Ana sneaks the gun away and heads to the hatch.

Locke speaks to Henry and asks why he attacked Ana and not him when he was so vulnerable. Henry says its because Locke is one of the good ones. It was Henry’s mission to come and get Locke but he failed, and now he’s going to die because the big boss is not a forgiving man. Locke, Kate and Jack leave the hatch in search of Sawyer to get the guns back. Ana says she’ll stay and look after a recovering Michael.

Ana goes into see Henry and holds a gun to his head. He tells her Goodwin thought she could change but he died trying. Ana says Goodwin was trying to kill her and Henry asks her if he was, really? Ana goes to shoot but can’t. Michael finds her later and asks what’s going on, she tells him everything and he says he’ll kill Henry. Ana hands over the gun and gives him the combination. Michael apologises and shoots Ana Lucia. Libby turns up and she gets shot twice too. Then Michael lets himself into the armoury and confronts Henry. He then turns the gun on himself and shoots himself in the shoulder.
